Sweet Mini-Rex boy. His age is unknown but seems to be pretty young. He’s an active, playful guy. We’ll know about him after his neuter as we prepare him for adoption.
Puff is a five year old bunny that lived outside
He is blind due to juvenile cataracts. He’s a sweet, quiet guy that loves snuggles.
We took him in a few weeks ago when his person no longer wanted him. He had been a 4H project for her daughter years ago.
He is now neutered and happily enjoying life indoors.
Sadness and loss is part of the function of caring for sanctuary/medical bunnies in our system. We’ll miss our girls endlessly.
Lolly came to us with a slight head tilt. Although she tested + for E.Cunniculi she did well on meds and recovered somewhat.
A year later she succumbed to the disease despite the meds and care.
Our sanctuary bunny, Zoe, 9 years old went to the Bridge on 3/25/15.
Our sweet girl, Bethany, went to the Bridge on 3/17/15. She presented with a severe GI infection over a year ago.
With intensive care she recovered. She went to the Bridge suddenly and unexpectedly a year later.
Peppermint is just one of the many sanctuary rabbits we have in our care. She’s an 8 year old bunny that needs molar trims every eight weeks or they grow Spurs on the side and cut into her inner cheek or tongue.
This week when she went in the vet found two very loose teeth. She extracted them both. The photo shows her enjoying her Critical Care and pumpkin mixture.
Peppermint has cataracts in one eye and no vision and partial cataract and limited vision in the other eye. Still she is active and feisty and enjoying life.
